A Company For Confusion

Image
I was reading an amazing article by Capgemini regarding #Strategic #Personnel #Planning (#SPP) and it suddenly reminded me of a rare real event in my career. Here I share the short #story and of course the #lessons I learned from that. In the process of #change or #improvement in an organization #structure, there are certain important steps which we should be aware of.   Background: I had a successful time in a small-medium #IT company for several years. Closing #profitable deals, leading an agile sales and commercial team and growing my skills in business development / management. It was not easy to develop business aspects in such a company because of many strategic barriers and I decided to apply for roles in bigger companies. During my job search a friend of mine who was working in the biggest #office machines company in the region, offered to take my CV to his manager. Environment: For several years #Accounting (Finance) department and #Project controllers worked on these #chaotic parameters ...

I was/am very glad to have the opportunity to be (even having a small role) participant in one of the biggest movements in the world. The organization has tens of thousands of volunteers and thousands of partners serving extraordinary content for nearly six hundred million unique app users and hundreds of million website users all around the world. After my registration, I received an orientation with a simple, clear and right to the point presentation. Then it took me less than one week to roll in and practically participate as a #volunteer in the translation team. my job description was simple too, even I had no experience working with 2 major platforms: 1- #Communication platform (S): Project managers/coordinators publishing links (topics and assignments) on this #platform. 2- #Content platform (C): I and other volunteers translate links' content ...
